Princess Haya, the wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,

was honoured with the award for her work in the field of sports.
The Steiger Award is named after ‘Der Steiger’ (The Miner), it stands for
reliability, loyalty and cooperation.
