upon the brutal assassination of Mrs. Benazir Bhutto

The sad and sorrowful demise of Mrs. Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister
of Pakistan who with great courage and unselfishness
served the people of her native land and gave her life is an immense
loss for all women of the world and more so
for all forward-looking Moslem women.
I knew the Bhutto family from way back, - Benazir Bhutto toiled with high
valiance and praiseworthy courage for the betterment and advancement
of her people, while mindful of the great dangers menacing her. She lost
her life heroically at the hands of cowardly murderers.
I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to her family and especially to her
mother, husband and bereaved children as well as the People of Pakistan.
I extend also my condolences to all women and men toiling for justice and
freedom wherever they are.
